What we love about Maine Coons

The Maine Coon cat breed originated in the beautiful state of Maine in the US, where it is the official state cat. A large and hardy breed that was valued as skillful hunters on farms with a two-layered coat, bushy tail and ruff to protect from the cold and snowy Maine winters. They have a gentle personality, hence the nickname “Gentle Giants”,  are playful and smart, but also have a goofy side, which we adore.
